Dear Editors:
Don’t place such a burden to solve Islamist terrorism on Western Europe. You pointed out Scandinavian efforts to defuse radicalism, but you have to go further and get at the core of the problem: Moderate Muslim clerics and community leaders need to emancipate their faithful from authoritarian, repressive, and unenlightened religious practices and fantasies. Such a reform should be fostered.
