Banks: By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes,
1-4	1st, 2nd and 3rd couples set twice joining hands on side.
Lake:Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomond,
5-8	1st, 2nd and 3rd couples circle left.
Mountain (Ben Lomond in vs.2): Where me and my true love were ever wont to be, On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.
9-12	Men 1-3 dance left hand wheel as ladies 1-3 dance right hand wheel.
13-16	All three couples set twice.
"High road - low road" refrain: Oh you'll take the high road And I'll take the low road, And I'll be in Scottland before you;
17-24	1st man sets to his lady, who remains standing for the moment, casts down behind 3rd man. As soon as 1st man casts off (bar 19) 1st lady sets once and dances slowly (bas-de-bas) down the centre to meet her partner between 3rd couple. 1st man leads his lady back to the top.
"Me and my true love": But me and my true love will never meet again, On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.
25-32	1st and 2nd couples Allemande, finishing 1st couple in 2nd place ready to dance the dance again.
